Tables
Tables are where Great Oak does its most deliberate work.
Common species include Black Walnut, White Oak, Hard Maple, and reclaimed Pine — each selected for the piece it will become.
Recent work includes a pair of White Oak dining tables built from reclaimed tobacco barn wood, mortise and tenon joinery, made for a family farm outside of Nashville.
Built-ins & Custom Work
Custom built-ins, cabinetry, and one-of-a-kind pieces designed around a specific space. Every joint is cut and fitted by hand using traditional woodworking techniques.
Bedroom
Beds, dressers, nightstands, and bedroom built-ins made to order. Pieces are sized and designed around the room they'll live in, built from solid hardwoods with finishes that reward long use.
